Andrew Zbihlyj (pronounced “zi – bee – lee”) is an award-winning illustrator
who has gained international attention and clientele since beginning his career in 2001.
Educated and based originally in Toronto, Canada, he has spent the last six years continuing his work from abroad,
first in Berlin, then London and more recently in Warsaw & Gdansk. Now based permanently in London,
he balances his commissioned work with his personal work, travel and a deep interest in European history.
The work presented here can be described as a mildly convoluted mix of traditional & digital collage techniques
incorporating loose inks, tight pencils, found photography, acrylic paints, various papers, chemicals and occasionally a bit of fire.
